BCS is the
oldest home inspection service in the Roanoke Valley.
Over 7,000
home inspections have been performed as of March 2004.
Don Field,
president, has 17 years experience as a structural designer, and a
total of 27 years in the field of civil engineering. He has
personally performed over 5,000 home inspections since 1987. Don is
also a certified NEHA listed radon tester (ID# 100918 RT) and FHA and
VA Single Family compliance inspector.
Tim Ellis,
associate inspector, has over 10 years experience as a remodeling
contractor. He has personally performed over 2,000 home inspections
since 1995, and is an expert in the Moisture Scan (TM)
method of inspecting synthetic stucco homes.
Your BCS Inspection
is ASHI Certified:
BCS
inspectors are fully certified by the American Society of Home
Inspectors (ASHI). Although some states require licensing for
this service, Virginia does not. ASHI members must follow an
established Standards of Practice, pass a rigorously controlled
examination, and perform a minimum of 250 fee-paid inspections.

has developed a standard home inspection service to meet most
general requirements. The inspection adheres to ASHI standards and
gives you important information you need to make an informed
decision. The standard inspection was established to provide
consistency in service and pricing, ensure quality, and deliver the
most value. But if you need other services, BCS also performs special
inspections such as FHA, well and septic, Stucco (and similar
material), and properties outside the Roanoke Valley and New River
Valler regions.
